“Innovation driving Blue Growth”

Bremen, Germany, 19-20 MAY 2014

Maritime Day 2014 is devoted to innovation. We will be discussing the technologies, business practices, operational requirements and rules that Europe needs to achieve its blue growth objectives.

The two-day EMD Conference brings together politicians and maritime stakeholders.

On 19 May, the high-level plenary session will introduce the main political challenges of maritime innovation. The different aspects of this theme will be declined over the two days in three thematic sessions and 21 workshops organised by maritime stakeholders.

The final plenary session on 20 May will draw the first conclusions, as a message from the maritime community to the EU on its Maritime Policy and Blue growth agenda.
